We provide natural, environmentally friendly residential cleaning services, including Standard Cleaning, Deep Cleaning and Special Projects (cleaning jobs that may not fit within these categories.) We can clean your home on a weekly, biweekly, monthly, occasional or one-time basis. We also offer vacation rental cleaning and move in/move out cleaning. We serve inland and coastal north county San Diego, California, including Escondido, Valley Center, Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad and surrounding areas. On occasion, we accept bookings in greater San Diego county as well as the unincorporated areas. Please reach out if you’re interested in a cleaning but may not be within our service area. We will do our best to accommodate you!

After our initial consultation, you can book with us via the Client Portal on our website or by contacting us at booking@meridianresidentialcleaning.com. We’re happy to clean your home on a weekly, biweekly, monthly, one-time or occasional basis. We arrive fully prepared, and bring all equipment, materials and cleaning products needed. If you prefer we use your supplies or equipment, we’re happy to do so. We can clean your entire home, or focus on specific areas of your home that are priority for you.

Typically, the first few cleanings will be Deep Cleanings, with a focus on specific areas of the home each time. Deep Cleanings take longer, as there is more time and labor required in addressing deeper cleaning issues. After the initial Deep Cleanings, subsequent visits typically take less time. Often, after several visits, the cleaning duration becomes consistent and we can agree on a flat rate going forward. This simplifies the billing process, especially for regularly scheduled weekly or biweekly cleanings.

For weekly and biweekly clients, or homes that are cleaned on a regular basis, Standard Cleaning is often enough to maintain the home. For new clients, we recommend Deep Cleaning until the tougher cleaning issues are resolved.

The time length of a cleaning will vary from home to home depending upon a range of factors. For Standard Cleanings, the majority of single-story homes take four to six hours with one cleaner. For Deep Cleanings, larger homes, homes with a lot of activity and/or homes with pets, the cleaning may take longer. Some clients opt to focus on specific areas of their home in each cleaning. Oftentimes, after several visits the cleanings go quicker. While we cannot give exact estimates prior to cleaning your home, please inquire for more information on what to expect in terms of time length and scheduling.

We charge hourly for our residential cleaning services. For Standard Cleaning, we charge $50 per hour per cleaner, and for Deep Cleaning we charge $60 per hour per cleaner. We may charge different rates for other cleaning jobs that don’t fit these categories. Our rate includes all supplies, products and equipment.

You might find that our costs are comparable or even lower than that of other residential cleaning services. We intend to make our services reasonable in cost, while still being able to cover the costs of using natural products and materials, which are often higher than that for conventional cleaning products.

Our rate also help us to cover our gas and mileage, the labor of preparing our natural cleaning products, sourcing sustainable cleaning materials as well as that of cleaning, disinfecting and laundering our supplies in between cleanings.

We love pets! We treat your fur family as if they were our own, and we make a point of only using cleaning products that are safe for pets. We will follow your protocols for pet safety and containment. If you have an escape artist, reactive pet or pet with other unique needs, please let us know in advance. We ask that you keep reactive pets contained while we’re in your home.

We use natural, biodegradable and environmentally friendly cleaning products, and avoid the use of microfiber rags or mops. We take steps to mitigate plastic waste and purchase our materials and cleaning ingredients from sustainable sources. We use essential oils for disinfecting, cleaning and for fragrance, but are happy to come with fragrance free products if you prefer. We only use products that are safe for pets.

Additionally, we aim to provide a level of care, attention and quality beyond what you’d receive with a conventional cleaning service. We treat your home as if it were our own. We show up with clean, sanitized and well maintained equipment, never bringing supplies from home to home without taking steps to clean, launder and disinfect our materials and equipment. Additionally, you’ll work with one cleaner- you’ll never have to explain your preferences and priorities to a new cleaner each visit.
